I hope everyone has a relaxing break planned! I know after two months of heavy-duty learning, it is nice to have time to step back and think about all we have accomplished. Before we head off in many different directions, I just wanted to seize the opportunity to get a few updates and reminders out to everyone.
First off, there is some work to be done over the break! In our math course, students have a small packet to keep their minds fresh on fractions. They are to complete the first page, and choose whether they want to complete the second or the third page. Also, if they did not finish their Mathletics work in class on the Friday before break, they need to login and complete this work. Finally, on the final Friday of break, students workbooks were sent home for review. Please go through the workbooks with your student and sign their planners informing us that you have reviewed it.
I also wanted to make everyone aware of Conference Day on November 22nd. Please make sure you have some time free this day to come in with your child to discuss their growth this school year. If you look at the calendar on the homepage, and below, I have loaded the time slots available on the 22nd. Please review and if you have a preference for a time, feel free to contact me with that time. Conferences will last 30 minutes with most of the time led by students.
Thanks for your continued support on our classroom website! We appreciate comments on our Daily Blog! Keep viewing.
Wishing you all the best,
Mr. N.
